Bratislava From Car Photos

hi ppl, i was by car in BA and made some pics (as normal they can be found on http://www.lu-pa.sk/mp/if_1_City_Where_I_Lived_Most.php or you click through my web http://www.lu-pa.sk/mp/ --> in menu "city where i blabla") my study starts in soon... so if i will find time i will make some normal pics from BA;)

PS: hmm it was shoot through car window (and it was not so clear) so forgive the "škvrny" that makkes the quaality a bit worse, but althrough enjoy

guess, where was that picture taken? When i saw this photo for the first time, i could not tell if it is in Russia or somewhere else...

you should revisit Bratislava, cause it changed so much mostly during last years as you can see there are many new buildings in BA that were build in last years and there are many still builded like visit this

lol if you take an old picture (maybe 10 years old sure) Slovakia made an economical wonder in the last year and heh we cannot compare the life standard in Slovakia and Russia also the criminality and other factors
Ps: if i would try much i could find a photo of Moscow where are peole living in Wooden Cottages
Bratislava is a wonderfull city, when you think its looking like Moscow it wont chnage the real Bratislava maybe you a bit jealous

thats an 15years old photo, cause of Vladimir Meciar and there is no TV logo on this picture, i know for sure (my uncle worked by STV) that they made it in after 1993 when CZ felt in two countries

Hmm... posledných niekoľko príspevkov strašne začínajú pripomínať lacnú „markízackú“ PR kampaň. Myslím si, že základným bodom oblbnutia je myšlienka, že jedna skupina ľudí, čí krajina v tomto prípade je vyspelejšia, demokratickejšia, krajšia a proste lepšia po všetkých stránkach ako iná. Nenechaj sa oklamať vonkajškom. To, že si nadšený zo svojej krajiny alebo mesta ešte neznamená že ľudia inde sedia v jaskyniach a vo všetkom Ti závidia (mimochodom, to iste Američania hovoria napr. o Slovákoch). Ale ak poznáš nejaké kritérium podľa ktorého chceš to posudzovať, prezraď ho nám všetkým, v opačnom prípade snaž sa byt trochu objektívnejší.

ok try to image my situation :
i was in BA and was in 7haeven of how wonderfull Bratislava is,and iam such happy to study there... so i shoot some photos also for you, that you see the most new photos from it (like the new Apollo bridge), but then comes Greeny with an 15years old photo telling me that Bratislava is looking like Sibir...what the hell...i went fenzy... Greeny is sure living in SR and can be in Bratislava every day
the only what he knows from BA and Slovakia are some 15yeras old photos! that was very unpolite! grrr

ok skuste si predstavit moju situaciu :
V Bratislave som bol ako v 7nebi z nadhery Bratislavy, a som taky stastny ze tam mozem studovat...tak som spravil aj par fotiek pre vas, aby ste videli najaktualnejsie obrazky (ako napr. novy Apollo most), al epotom pride Greeny s 15rocnou fotkou a hovori mi ze Bratislava vyzeraa ako Sibir...co do pekla...isiel som zosaliet...Greeny urcite zije v SR a moze byt v Bratislave kazdy den jedine co pozna z Bratislavi a Slovenska su nejake 15 rocne fotky bolo to odneho velmi neslusne! grrr

Myslím si, že si práve nadchol Greeny poslať tu fotku, keď si napísal o architektúre čias komunizmu. Greeny, podľa mňa, sa snažila iba poznamenať to, že tie paneláky naozaj vyzerajú rovnako bez ohľadu na to kde sa nachádzajú. Samozrejme, v Rusku ako aj na Slovensku takéto niečo, čo je vidieť na tej fotke, už by sa sotva našlo vo veľkomestách. Mimochodom, aj u nás, aj na Slovensku v menších mestách takýto architektonicky štýl ešte stále vládne vzorom mesta.

lubim, lubim Bratislavu... a uz velmi tuzim... napriek tomu, ze som sa vratila domov (Petrohrad) len v june...

vcera vecer bola som v "Доме Книги", ktory je na Nevskom, tu, v Petrohrade a vidiela som knihu "Сто самых красивых городов мира". A Blava bola tam "Красавица Дуная"...

I`ve put an old photo here in the aim to show:"common, all is turning to better, look-flowers and cut grass around the house at least" and we have smth in common (Slovakia and Russia)...

It was great idea to put a link on the web for people to be able to watch on-line how the bridge is mooving.
When i were watching it on-line i felt that all Slovakia could sit near PC and care about that event. I think it is great action! Dufam ze bude sa aj vam pacit
